Hi All,

I have a booking using Qatar Avios from Doha to Melbourne (in J) in a few months and I wanted to change this to Paris-Doha-Melbourne. I'd rather change the ticket as it would only be an extra 20k Avios vs buying another award outright which would be an extra 45k Avios.

First of all, is this change possible or not with QR Privilege club?

Secondly, if possible, how competent are QR staff? I've done similar things with Qantas in the past 6 months and my experience on three separate occasions can only be described as living nightmares. In each situation, the Qantas staff ended up cancelling the original booking and losing the seats altogether. Has anyone done this with QR and how reliable are they in making these types of changes?
