no difference but for other reasons, UA flight number is better
SFO (San Francisco) is the TATL gateway from the USA west coast
Has a travel agent to issued the ticket on NZ stock.
first leg is AKL-LAX on Air New Zealand
second leg is LAX-LHR NZ9834 in Premium Economy O class (this is what's shown on the UA eTicket Itinerary and Receipt sent from UA account),
but when logged in to UA account under my trips to do the upgrade, it says UA923 and R class.

when requesting UA mileage upgrade, it wants 20k miles + 425 co-pay, which is what R class required for upgrade.

Was hoping to avoid co-pay and but I am assuming there is no way around it?
