I was looking to book a flight from New York to Denver in June and much to my surprise the rates for these flights are obscene… as high as $500 one-way. I looked at one or two of the flights I was hoping to book and the seat map is almost entirely unselected so no one is clearly booking at these rates. it looks like the rates are pretty elevated for June through August which is clearly peak time for Denver but still seems a bit absurd. Anyone have any thoughts?
