Bassinet is only useful for very small babies. Up to ~3-4 months max. And if they’re able to sit up it’s no use at all. (Will actually be a negative as the baby will get agitated trying to sit up when the “cover” is on.)
For a ten month old they won’t even fit in the bassinets, never mind enjoy it.

(We’re well past 20 flights with our 18 month old so have tried it all!)
