Not only do rollover nights not roll over to a second year (fair enough in my opinion), but we might be wrong in expecting that that first night the OP stays in 2023 will roll over to 2024 since he's already qualified as Diamond.

The language in the T&C says (bolding mine):

At the end of the calendar year, Qualifying Nights in excess of the number required for Gold Elite, Platinum Elite, and Diamond Elite status will rollover into the following year and count towards earning Elite status in that year. Rollover Nights are only valid for one calendar year.
I think we should read this to mean "the excess of the number generally required for elite status" not "the number that you need for elite status this year." I was rudely awakened to a similar situation in Hilton's program, which uses almost identical language in their T&C. So basically someone who stays 70 nights every year gets no benefit from rollover nights -- not even the expected extra Diamond year at the tail end if he stops staying. We don't know that it will work this way for years starting in 2024 but we shall see.

My rollover nights haven't posted yet, either. I sent them a message via the web site in mid-January and tried to use the web chat but of course got no response.
