I would say closest terminal is terminal D. I have been using terminal D recently for all of my UA departures regardless of terminal. There is a ticket counter there too if you need to check bags. There is no Clear in D, but Precheck line only usually has a few people in it and I'm though security in a few minutes. Amex Centurion lounge is right upstairs via elevator and then just walk to your E gate (no more than 10 minutes if that).
