Unclear if Pacific View truly exists. It can be booked and is the standard redemption for an award booking, I like you was in the app almost immediately changed to Ocean View. I suspect this happens with all award bookings and allows them to open up new award space.
When we arrived at the hotel, they claimed this was an upgrade as diamond members.
The Ocean View was in one of the very back buildings but I did not see the actual room or view.
In the end we ended up getting what they classify as an Ocean Front unit ; so think that was a further upgrade.
