Rerouted flight - invalid fare class
I just had a mad trip to Kilimanjaro w KLM with cancelled flights both out and back.
On the way out, we were rerouted on Qatar via Doha. I expected that at least I would get some EC Avios and tier point. After a week, nothing appeared on my account. However, looking at the rebooking, the booking class is E, which doesn’t seem to be a valid Avios code.
Given that our original flight was eligible for flying blue points, surely the rebooking should correspond?
I have obviously submitted the claim with BA, but not holding my breath.
Any advice?
