Was on AC97 from EZE to GRU yesterday. There were 3 passengers who caused a disturbance and were brought off the plane by police. Never seen that before. The captain was back in Y trying to deal with the issue himself, and was making announcements on the intercom that the passengers should deplane voluntarily as police were on the way and it would only make things worse. He had also already started the luggage search and removal process.

Strangest thing was 2 of the 3 passengers had been boarded in wheelchairs. Apparently they took seats not assigned to themselves and refused to take their assigned seats on a full flight. They took a long time to be escorted off using walkers or their arms around officials.

As soon as they got off and were standing in the bridge, they shut the plane door and removed the bridge. Also never seen them move it with passengers standing in.
