BA Avios booking on AA: Ticket and itinerary don't match
Hi all, I booked an AA flight using Avios from ORD to CUN on AA 492 departing on Feb 7th. Since booking, the flight times have changed a couple times and I have confirmed the changed flight. I am trying to check in with AA now, and they are saying that "it's apparent that there have been some schedule changes made to your booking, and your ticket hasn't been updated to reflect such. This sums up why you can't check in online, as the itinerary, and ticket must match for online check in to go through." and want me to contact British Airways to get my ticket updated. I contacted BA and they said that the ticket was updated and the itinerary and ticket matched (although the agent was very confused so I'm not sure if they even checked the right thing). Has anyone had any similar experiences? What should I do?
Edit: HUCAed and another more competent agent was able to re-issue tickets. Apparently this is a common issue where the system doesn't always re-issue tickets when flight times are updated.
