Airlines got into the business of remote/online verification of meeting COVID requirements. They can do the same thing with regard to remote/online verification of other documents evidencing exemption from ETIAS. But as a very frequent TATL traveler during the most locked down periods of the pandemic and thereafter, my experiences with that inform me to expect there to be mess-ups with ETIAS exemption verification for OLCI.
