OK cheers FlyinH, that makes sense. So essentially if am not assigned a specific car, I either pick from the row/section im assigned or I can look at the Gold section of UC for something else. What in general do they usually have in there?
Last time I picked up from LAS was told select from a number of the same cars on a row (Chargers or Mustangs with Dollar) both times many years back. Picked a Mustang once with speed limiter on it, so annoying!

Your options as a Gold member is to accept the vehicle you are assigned at LAS or look in the Gold section of the Ultimate Choice lot for a possibly superior choice (note - LAS may just direct you to the Gold section without assigning you a specific vehicle). Yes m907 that was my thinking, so if cant be sure its AWD no point choosing one, especially as no guarantee the boot cover will be there to hide my luggage!
