Obviously, this is crystal-ball territory, but any chance SQ might introduce a nice daytime flight?
We once took that SQ216 flight to connect onwards to TPE and then to Canada. Stayed at the hotel as late as we could (6pm) and then headed to airport. Nothing really to do but sit on a plastic seat waiting hours and hours for SQ to open check in. It felt like sitting in a bus station waiting area.
