Your BP probably will be looked at the boarding gate because you didn't scan. I only say this as I scanned my BP for an international flight a few weeks ago and was never called to the gate for passport review.
Same for me when I boarded for LHR a couple of months back. Scanned the NFC at checkin and just had to show my passport at boarding. Didn't even have to open it.
