Oddly, there apparently was what appears to have been a 'rescue' flight today from Denver to Lincoln to pick up the diverted UA1888 passengers and they gave it #2733. And it must have been interesting for Lincoln to see two UA 772s on the same afternoon.
I'm guessing unprecedented. LNK hasn't had anything but UX service in decades.
(My first-ever jet flight was United LNK-ORD on a 727. Back before the Civil War.
