Are you checked in and in possession of a boading pass? Do you have checked baggage for the hold? If so, could it go into the cabin?

If you can't avoid baggage check-in then the 45 minute deadline can be expected to be hard. If this is not vilable, you should call BAEC and ask to be moved to the later flight.
