Very fortunate to have just returned from Male on 777 with club suites both directions. Amazing product and a direct flight so double win there for BA (although the onboard service is poor at best). I have looked to book for next Jan and these are now scheduled as 787 I think with the old club seats 2-3-2 layout. Dam!
I understand Virgin are going to start a direct flight from London to Male from October and the club suite was surely a massive advantage for BA on this route - such a shame it seems to have been removed. Qatar might now just have the edge - even non-direct - as a much superior business product and definitely service.
