Not all of these can be applied for now.

For example, the USA/Canada version of Diners Club (for many years now administered by BMO/Harris, before that by Citi) hasn't taken applications for new cards for quite a few years now. So only people who got the card while it was still available and held onto it have access to its transferrable rewards program (which is the only one I know of that can transfer to Alaska Airlines, though I know nothing about the HSBC or RBC programs that were on that list).

So this list should have lots of footnotes explaining the limitations of some of these programs.
