I learned this the hard way to Antigua. Was wearing the amenity kit socks only, and didn't see the lake of p--s swishing about the floor until I felt something wet. Then, I was stuck in a washroom with a soaked sock wondering how I'm going to remove it, dispose of it and clean my foot and get back to my seat with one bare foot which will by then be dirty again. A very unpleasant experience in a very mediocre flight from LGW. Now I wear shoes or slippers.
