Stayed recently at a Chapter 3 room recently.

A corner room with a huge balcony, you'd almost whish that they had done a bit more to fill the balcony with something as it was mostly empty space. But it was a nice place to sit and look out over the Hamarikyu gardens in between calls.

The breakfast has moved to full buffet, and while the quality is high the selection is not really that broad. Without being (movie quote alert) Jared Leto's hard kombucha, as part of their five health drink shots, the kombucha is quite nice. It is not a complaint about the breakfast, I was perfectly happy with it, but somehow it seems like there is far more spread than there actually is.

Club Mesm included for ambassadors, or if you pay the up sell, is really nice. And we mostly had it to ourselves. I am reasonably leaning to the not really worth the up sell. But as an ambassador it is a gem of a place. This time around the Japanese sparkling wine was not to the level of last time, but definitely worth trying. Clearly they had a record of last we stayed and made reference to it.
