I din’t think it was either stupid nor least substantive to complain about that.
Rather is pathetic and symptomatic of service
shortcomings that are becoming the rule.
Pre-flight drinks (in F, chamoagne) exist pretty much across the board in premium classes and have been part of the experience ever since. Skimping ridiculously on these is something worth reporting in a FF forum.

Again I'd argue quality is preferred here over quantity. I cant say AA are renowned for their champagne selection but if its all about getting the most of something as opposed to the best of something then good for you 👍
I got a half a gallon serving of Besserat on my preflight transcon yesterday, needless to say I barely sipoed-maybe something in the middle between quality and quantity could be worked out
