Is it possible, on the day of departure, to request an upgrade for a companion (on a different PNR) in an airport different from that of departure of the Air Canada flight?
We are traveling BKK-NRT-YYZ and ideally I would prefer to request the upgrade at BKK the morning of my 1st flight, as there are going to be staff at the Air Canada check-in counter for the flight to Vancouver.
It’s definite possible but the real question is “would they do it for you”. It’s hard to say, if the agent is willing they can definitely do it, but I’m afraid that there is a large chance that they would just tell you “go find staff in NRT”.
