BA193 landed 20-30 mins early so would have made the connection fairly easily even if the AA flight had not been a little late. Did however skip a 20 min line at immigration due to a nice person that let us skip most of the line for no apparent reason. Also saved time at security as most of it was done by a dog so no bags had to be emptied.

Was very explicitly told at HAM that we had to recheck bags and that they had no ITI tags. Turns out however that all bags that go on an international AA flight do not need any rechecking. I know others on the same itinerary were in more if a hurry as they were waiting for the bags for a long time (they got the same wrong message) and only found out when they did not show up.
