You make it sound like you’re avoiding JFK because of the lounge issue. Is that because there are better airport lounges elsewhere? If so, care to enlighten us?

I’m traveling through Boston tomorrow rather than JFK. For the avoidance of doubt it’s because I found a far better deal. Nothing to do with lounges.
