Airborne Brat is on LAX-AMS-DXB today and the first sector did have cava only even the menu stated champagne.

On a side note, I somehow got tired of AMS lounges that 2023 was in sign of Air France. And I lived up to my words, 16 wonderful AF flights and connections in January. On the other hand the lounge surprised me in a good way and I actually enjoyed my time there on my way to YUL, great crews as always and good meals that almost made me think that it does not matter who I fly...but cava on board, ha ha ha. AF it is. Do have one more AMS-JNB in a coming weeks and cancelling HKG with KLM.
