QF does allow points transfer to eligible family members at no cost. Not many ffp's allow that.

​​​​​​We have household pooling via BA and our existing avios balances and the redemption options for short haul via BA and long haul on IB flights make the miles more useful credited to BA than QF for us. QF just isn't a practical option
