Is this an issue I need to have fixed for Air New Zealand to be able to issue boarding passes and check luggage to the final destination? We have a pretty short connection, so if NZ doesn't issue all of the boarding passes, we likely won't make it. I'm just trying to determine if I need to contact United again or if it won't be an issue.
Thanks!
i had 16 segments ticket with different airlines, i had non ticket issuing airline not showing the entire ticket, only the flight before and after their flights.
Since there are some changes made, you should verify if all flights are shown on the ticket issuing carrier. i.e. united. also, verify at NZ website if the NZ flight is shown correctly, if the NZ website show the ticket number, you should compare the number shown on the united website if they are the same. flight change usually needs a re issue. if NZ cannot issue boarding pass for flight 3 and 4, you can try the gate agent for flight 2. if NZ cannot issue a bag tag including 3 and 4, NZ should be able to do it manually with you providing a print ticket with all the info on flight numbers and date.
since you travel to the us, i don't know if you land on us soil after flight 1 or 2, you need to pick up your bags and recheck since you need to go thru us custom and immigration, so if it's not tag to the final destination, you can retag at an united counter.
