Funny thing is I was living in a luxury high rise years ago and it was happening in our units due to building defects
I was excited to book a few weeks at the Hilton Auckland to get away from the leaks and remediation
The lawyers settled the matters and the reconstruction started
Just before departure the Hilton roof was leaking too in Auckland 🥹🙄🤷‍♂️ so I canceled
When I’m spending that kind of dough at a property like the PHS revenue or points my expectations are high for luxury
Water brings extra mold in the air and a subpar experience is not what I’m after when seeking a luxury property to stay in
That said I’ve typically been a happy guest when I stay there minus the fitness center
