In the past I've had success getting AA to rebook me in JL F on a different route and then have JL open up the inventory via their liaison during an involuntary change like this. Fortunately, I've only got 1 award segment affected by the ORD downgauge (and, fortunately, it was an itinerary with an onwards ORD-NYC connection). AA EXP desk has already rebooked me on HND-JFK in F and I'm waiting for the JL liaison to confirm the new flight. Not holding my breath, but fairly hopeful JL will do the right thing again. I'll report back. YMMV.

You are lucky. I miss the EXP desk (no longer EXP). The agents I spoke with didn’t want to hear about requesting to connect with the JL liaison.
I’m also connecting from JFK and JFK-HND shows F7A2 so it shouldn’t be that difficult.
Edit to add: reaching out to AA via social media was like hitting a brick wall.
