I am not sure if it's new, but I received an e-mail today regarding the "Premier Collection" hotels. It seems like Capital One's version of Amex FHR? The one advantage it seems to have over Amex FHR is that it pays 10x unlike Amex FHR which is 5x. However what I need to know before pulling the trigger on trying Capital One Premier Collection hotels is whether the elite benefits will to apply for hotel chains, or will this be treated as an OTA booking.

With Amex FHR most of the time the elite benefits apply which is why I use it, if they were not, then the value of such hotel bookings would greatly diminish.
