I realize this is the epitome of 'first world problems', but I was on JL004 on 21 April in F (AA award) and they have automatically moved me to 8006 on the same day, for which I suppose I should be grateful, but I'm not happy. I am coming back from Nagasaki by train on the 20th and had booked a single night in Shinagawa and was planning on spending the day in Tokyo, but now that I have an early morning flight out of NRT, I guess I'll have to get up pre-dawn and make the trek to Narita. I wonder if it's worth it trying to get them to at least let me fly out of HND, but from the earlier posts, it's not going to be easy. And I suppose letting me take the afternoon flight from HND to either SFO or LAX and then connect to JFK is out of the question. COVID, the gift that keeps on giving.
