My question was more along the line of whether or not it would be self funded over the 40+ year lifetime of the airport. Eliminating daily drivers/busses for 40+ years would save a bundle of cash. You could compare the present value of 40+ years of savings to the initial cost of the air-train (plus ongoing air-train maintenance).
