I love this hotel and stayed in June 2022. I felt very well treated as a Diamond. I really liked being on Giudecca and away from the tourists and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.Taking the hotel shuttle was fine for us and felt luxurious compared to the public options.We only ever used the hotel shuttle, and not the water buses. In the evening the shuttle makes a stop right across the canal from the hotel and takes 5 minutes. We ate dinner in that area for 2 nights because it was not in the thick of the busy areas.
I definitely think Molino is a great property, especially using points, I just wanted to give a few of the drawbacks I noticed.
I love being able to easily stop by my room during the day to grab a jacket, drop things off, take a quick shower before dinner, etc. Others might not find this as important.
I also enjoy being able to walk outside of the hotel and be in the thick of the action right away, but others might prefer a more secluded property.
