It makes sense to end inflight shopping as it didn't seem like a good income source anymore: people weren't buying much inflight in EU at least.
However, the preorder was a wonderful service and I would have used it more is preordering was just a tad simpler using finnairshop.com. Did anyone say integrate preordering into the app?👂
Yet, there was always some issue with finding the flight on that site and it wasn't showcasing products in a smooth way, for example, this product is not available on OSL flight but on DOH. And checkout and paying was cumbersome.
With this announcement, I cannot help but wonder how long Finnair Shop website will be around...
