Hi. Can I claim my checked in baggage at Colombo Airport (CMB) in Sri Lanka when my single booking looks like this:

1. India --> Maldives , with layover in Colombo, Sri Lanka
   
2. Maldives --> Sri Lanka
3. Sri Lanka --> India

Note that:

• in contrary to the first flights (India --> Sri Lanka --> Maldives), the second (Maldives --> Sri Lanka) and third flight (Sri Lanka --> India) are booked as two separate flights, but on a single booking.
• All flights are from SriLankan Airlines (UL).
• There is a 7 hour layover between flight 2 and 3

Will my checked in baggage be available at Colombo airport or will it be checked through to India?

I'm considering not taking the last flight to India and take the opportunity to stay a while in Sri Lanka.
Note that:

• My Indian tourist visa will be expired by then (so I won't even be able to re-enter India)
• I have a valid tourist visa for Sri Lanka for the period that I want to spend there
• An airline usually won't fly with checked baggage from a passenger who did not board (for security reasons)
• I will have a direct flight ticket from Sri Lanka back home.
