I think WestJet needs to focus on the Asian market.... China, Japan (think Kyoto), Thailand, India, etc. These are high demand places that Canadians would want to visit.
Also a direct to Cape Town would be good too.
As a friend used to say, Far East as in Atlantic Canada; while the desire to see WS serves ultra-long haul routes like CPT, DEL, BKK, etc. I can't see it happening for the foreseeable future.
