TK is Turkish Airlines, TA is travel agency. When releasing, then it started from I, then J etc.
Airport check-in counter is the last option to upgrade but it depends how full business class is and TK prefer to sell cash upgrades at the airports if there are availability.
So TK releases class I then J. Once they reach class D, it means no chance of getting upgrade with miles even if its 4-5 months out. I saved all these points hoping one day I will travel business class. I guess not this time.
