Hi all- on 2/16 am booked on AV-583 (IAD-SAL) connecting to AV-454 (SAL-XPL) the next day. My intention is to leave the airport and stay in a hotel overnight. I’ve come across a few rumors that say I will have to go to the Avianca counter in San Salvador to pay additional taxes before heading to the immigration checkpoint.
