I have booked another RTW Lufthansa code share for July -Aug this year with Syd-Sin and Sin- Fra Singapore metal, I have been able to save Book The Cook 8 months in advance for both flight segments.
So it appears that it is hit or miss.
Third time on an LX ticket with an SQ connection from SIN to down under in F. Book the Cook does not work and communication with SQ in Europe is terrible. Have been trying for a while and will give up now, but doesn't make me happy. As much as I like SQ in the air, customer care and ground service are just not good enough for such an airline.
