Thats one way to do it I guess. But I think the hotel can do better to be more clear, much more clear.
Of course, that would be preferable. Not everyone will appreciate my methodology but if I book a hotel on points, for them to charge me the cash rate if I'm unable to travel is simply nonsense and doesn't work for me.
