- Will whomever you call at T-3 days tell you that you (or the system) auto accepted the new system suggested itinerary? very likely
This is stressful enough to deal with as a SE, and often the priority reservations desk gets it wrong until challenging them or invoking a concierge. If the itinerary they suggest is totally out of the question, I wouldn't want to deal with that as lower status.
If you do wait, one tip is don't open your file on aircanada.com, if you hit manage reservation or seat change, the system is known to often stop showing the "your booking has changed click to review, refund, or select new flights"
