My friend received a soft landing to 1K with 320 PP deposited to his account, and today is his last day as GS.
He booked saver XN awards for the whole family to Paris in summer, and applied PP to waitlist the upgrade.
I am pretty sure that the PN waitlist will stay even though he won't be GS tomorrow. As we know, 1K PP can't upgrade Y award ticket.
As long as he doesn't change the ticket, his family should be able to get upgraded at some point.
