My advice - fly WestJet Y when it suits you, or buy Y and upgrade to PY for maybe a big seat up front if the prices is right. Otherwise your J fares and status are better with another carrier. And I say this as a YYC passenger.
What is the difference between a YYC passenger versus a YVR passenger?
