I notice there are ocean front suites as well, but I think it's safe to say that that upgrade path won't be an option from the room I've booked. Do you think it would be necessary to contact Hyatt or the hotel to request that I NOT be upgraded in this case?
I booked a base king. Our suite had a wraparound balcony with a view of the pool complex and ocean off in the distance. So not oceanfront but I could see it. I believe some of these suites also overlook the lagoon in the back so no ocean view at all.
