This is beating a dead horse. so we can stop. I found my way to take care of the situation and it is being resolved.
As someone else mentioned, this is an IC, so regardless of bad day, there's a level of service I expect, you can think it's entitled but I still expect to get greeted, seated and brought a drink by a waiter, if he is doing it for every other guest that walks into the lounge.
I'll just list my observations of why I went towards racism rather than bad service.
1. My wife ate breakfast alone the first day, didn't greet her, didn't seat her, she had to flag him down to order eggs. She wanted to go up back to the room to grab my son and bring him down and when she asked him to not clear the food for 10min, he threw his hand up and said to her that he can't keep the food out forever. The lounge was fairly empty, nobody is waiting for a table. She didn't mention it to me.
2. Second day, I come to breakfast with her, didn't greet us or seat us, I asked him for eggs, he told me to "wait a minute" but the tone was off, of course he can be busy but it was the way he said it that I started noticing something was off. That's when my wife started talking to me about what happened the day before. So I started observing him, welcoming other guests that come into the lounge, saying hello, in Spanish and English. Taking them to a table, bringing them juice, water and asking if they wanted him to make a espresso or other drink. Kept observing, it was the same for each other person that came into the lounge for breakfast for the next hour.
3. Complained to the manager, that something is off with the waiter.
4. We came back a few days later, waiter is normal, greets us, takes us to the table, brings juice, asks how we want our eggs, just normal service.
5. Last day, my wife eats breakfast alone without me and she said he went back to what happened the first 2 days.
