Had a nice stay at the Renaissance this weekend. I really like that I'm usually able to book into a corner suite for nominally more than a base room. Rooms are looking a little long in the tooth, but space is nice and location is good if you don't mind a little walking, some elevation changes, and some road noise.

Lounge has no service on weekends, which is fine as they offer breakfast buffet in the Fig and Judge restaurant, which is really nice and very mellow. Service was very attentive, especially for buffet.

Only mark on an otherwise lovely weekend was inattentive and unfriendly service at the lobby restaurant Friday night. Food was great and reasonably priced though.

Will continue to choose this place if rates are competitive.
