Almost 100% guaranteed to be a Bronco Sport, not a real Bronco. Given the demand for them, I don't think any PR rental car company has any real Broncos on their fleet.
This makes sense. Would love to try a real Bronco, but everyone else that actually paid for one wants to try theirs too haha.
Toll-by-plate is not really a thing in PR (well, it is, but not in the way it works in the US.). The car will have a transponder already on it, since it's just a sticker. You'll receive an additional charge on your card a few weeks later for the tolls + fee.
That's good to know. I guess my biggest question in the end is - will I have to stop by the desk on my way to the aisle lot at all to add this? Or, like you said, is it just in every vehicle and its only activated when I drive through a toll? I've gotten familiar with the fees (convenience for each day it is used + actual tolls), but just wanting to make sure I know what to expect and can swiftly get in and out of the rental lot.
Thanks both for the responses!
