First experience as a GS today in LHR, it was not to disimmilar to before and as my flight was late afternoon it was reasonably quiet when I got to check in.

GS agent was quick and helpful getting me checked in, queue at security was non existent and then headed to the lounge. Used the smaller lounge for first time and I reckon there were less than a dozen folk in it which was good as I had a couple of work calls to take. Definitely seemed less hectic than the main united club in LHR although no full service bar.

Flight fine and recognized as a GS which meant I got my meal choice despite being relatively late to board in Polaris.

Overall, not blown away but matched my expectations. Now sat having a beer in IAD Polaris lounge waiting for my connection.
