Morning breakfast still served in the restaurant was fine, but certainly not as good as the Regency Osaka or Tokyo Marriott. Still better than most US hotels, but in the bottom 10% of full service hotel breakfast in Japan. Evening offering in the lounge was way worse than either - usually a pork dish, a rice dish and some pumpkin soup. We went for a quick drink when we were around during 5-7:30pm, but didn't go out of our way to make it. Still for the price paid (~$90 USD) felt like it was a good value. If I didn't want the suite, I'd much prefer one of the onsite Disney partner hotels (Hilton or Sheraton). Same story with the Hyatt in Osaka. When traveling with a 4 year old, a suite trumps location.

The shuttle wasn't terribly frequent, so a couple times we hopped the shuttle to the Disney Celebration hotel (every 20 minutes, generally) or the Comfort Suites next door. The comfort suites also has a Lawson attached to the lobby.
Good to know that the Celebration allowed you to take the shuttle. That was precisely my plan when I saw the shuttle schedule for the Hyatt Regency.

I used to be a Marriott guy so the Sheraton was my go-to pre-pandemic. But now that I'm going after Hyatt Globalist, I'll be staying here next month. This hotel is only 12K JPY on the weekdays I'm staying and I don't think I've ever stayed at a Marriott in the greater Tokyo area at that price.
