All my RTWs have been using paid, not award tickets, and all have been with Oneworld and none have started/ended in the US. For the paid tickets, prices vary greatly depending on where the trip begins and ends. It's often the case that RTWs starting and ending in the US have base prices twice as high as those starting in other places.

The base price ex-Hungary for a DONE4 has gone up since November and is now US$6252. Taxes and fees make up the difference. Substitute Edvard Grieg's home for BUD and see what you get.
